Annual Day 2018 Important Details!

Dear Parents,

Thank you for registering for the competition. You should have received a link for practice sheets for your child’s level.

Your child should have already done some practice sheets in class. Please look at it to see how the paper looks likes OR Please ask your teacher for a sample of how the paper should look like. It is best to practice on sheets that have the same format. Please contact us if you are unsure. (competition@brainomagic.com).

PLEASE BE SURE TO SIGN THE WAIVER AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT While receiving the tickets.

Remember

  • Be there at 1:00pm sharp. NO COMPETITION Entry after 1:30PM. There will be over 280 participants registering at the same time. Please come on time. Competition will start at sharp 1:30. Students delayed in registration will not be allowed to enter.
  • Students participating are REQUIRED TO Wear Brain-O-Magic T-Shirt-No Exceptions.

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION ONCE DOORS CLOSE OR IF BADGE IS LOST.

Logistics 

When: Sunday March 18th 2018 1:00 PM Sharp

Where: Centerville Jr High School GYM 37720 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536 

DRESS CODE: All students MUST wear their Brain-O-Magic T-Shirts. If you forget you will be REQUIRED to purchase it for $10 on-site or you can buy it for $5 from your center. Students that are not wearing their T-Shirt will not be allowed to participate in the competition.

TICKETS:  Each participant gets 2 tickets for family members at no charge. Participants will receive a Badge. Please be sure to collect the tickets & badge from your center director before the event. Additional tickets would need to be purchased – Ask director for more details. You may ask other friends if they have extra tickets.  ENTRY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED WITHOUT BADGE & TICKETS. Additional entry tickets will be sold for $10 (Adult) and $5 (Child).

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

Everyone will need to submit tickets to get a STAMP. Please go to the counter based on LAST NAME. Each participant will get a participant STAMP upon showing their badge. At least one parent is REQUIRED to wait in the GYM area during the competition. NO DROP OFF ALLOWED. Please do not stand outside the hall and please maintain silence during competition time.  DO NOT LOSE THE BADGE-STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE IF BADGE IS NOT PRESENT!

Event Agenda:

1:00-1:30PM Registration

1:30PM Door Closes

1:30-2:30PM Competition

2:30-3:00PM Graduation

3:00-5:00PM Concert, Carnival, Bingo & Prize Distribution

IMPORTANT:

If your child did not get a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place trophy, THEY WILL GET A PARTICIPANT TROPHY AND WILL NEED TO SUBMIT THE ADMISSION BADGE AT THE TIME OF COLLECTING THE TROPHY. PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE WEARING THEIR BADGE WHEN THEY ARE ASKED TO LINE UP FOR THE TROPHIES.

What to get

  • Be sure to wear Brain-O-Magic T-shirt
  • Tickets
  • Badge
  • 4 sharpened pencils
  • Abacus (Please check based on Difficulty level – No Abacus for L3 and up)
  • 10 free carnival tickets will be given after the competition to the kids at the day of the event

Remember Make sure that your child goes to the restroom BEFORE the competition, they will NOT be allowed to leave once they are in their seats

NO food allowed in the GYM area

NO water ALLOWED during the competition between 1:30 and 2:30 PM

There will be food/snacks available to purchase and can be eaten outside
